Yes, participants may rent GPU compute from providers such as RunPod, AWS, Nebius, or similar platforms if they would like to.

The compute provider is simply being used as infrastructure, so this is permitted provided that:

• only the specified competition data is used
• the data and solution remain private and are not shared with third parties
• no prohibited proprietary model API or managed model service is used
• the final solution is fully reproducible
• the submitted code includes the required dependencies, hardware specifications, and approximate runtime.

Using rented cloud GPUs does not by itself count as using a prohibited paid tool or service.
